The present invention discloses a refining device for titanium scraps and titanium sponges using calcium gas and a method thereof in order to produce a titanium ingot with high purity. The present invention includes: a vacuum chamber; a cubicle, located inside of the vacuum chamber, in which a melting process is done without contact of molten metal with inside walls of the cubicle by a magnetic field of an induction coil; and calcium gas supplying means which supply calcium gas from the lower side of the cubicle to a space between the inside walls of the cubicle and the molten metal.
