PURPOSE: A method for chemically treating PBDEs(Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers) is provided to economically and environmentally treat the PBDEs. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for chemically treating PBDEs(Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers) is mounted with a stirrer, and includes a treating tank(10), a KOH(potassium hydroxide) tank(20), a PEG(Polyethylene Glycol) tank(30), a heater(40), and a vacuum pump(50). A PBDEs contaminated solution is housed in the treating tank. KOH, which is fed to the treating tank, is housed in the KOH tank. PEG, which is fed to the treating tank, is housed in the PEG tank.
