The present invention relates to a thermal spray coating method for an aluminum panel for electromagnetic pulse protection and the aluminum panel, and more specifically, to an aluminum panel having a roughness layer on a surface thereof and a metal coating layer formed on the roughness layer through wire arc spraying, wherein a thickness of the aluminum panel is 0.5 to 1 mm and a thickness of the metal coating layer is 100 to 300m. According to the present invention, a high protection performance against low-frequency electromagnetic fields as well as electric fields, excellent adhesion between the base aluminum panel and the metal coating layer, and excellent electromagnetic coupling at connection portion between aluminum panels for electromagnetic pulse protection can be achieved. Additionally, it is possible to provide an aluminum panel with excellent electromagnetic pulse protection performance and a light weight, thereby enabling effective production of a composite panel for electromagnetic pulse protection, which is applied to a military mobile communication shelter.
