The present invention relates to a genomic selection model generating method for calculating an estimated breeding value and an estimated breeding value calculating method using the same, more specifically, to a method for calculating an estimated breeding value using genomic information to estimate a breeding value through genomic selection even for a new horse with no race record and no pedigree information. The present invention selects a genome with good explanation ability and prediction ability by applying an SIS model which is never applied to high level data such as a genome, and calculates an estimated breeding value by calculating a weight through a penalty function of a most suitable model.
