The present invention relates to a method for three-dimensional formation of tree rings on the surface of a wooden material and to a wooden material for an interior produced by the same. Provided are a method for three-dimensional formation of tree rings on the surface of a wooden material and a wooden material for an interior produced by the same, comprising: a first step of cutting a new wooden material into a semi-processed wooden material in order to be used as a wooden material for an interior; a second step of firstly drying the semi-processed wooden material at a temperature range of 180-240C for 100-180 minutes by using a dryer; a third step of coating the surface of the semi-processed wooden material with a surface treatment agent containing vegetable oil, tree resin, a paint, and a thinner or methylene chloride (MC); and a fourth step of drying the semi-processed wooden material in shade at room temperature for 20-30 hours. The surface treatment agent containing vegetable oil, tree resin, paint, and thinner or MC is coated and dried on the surface of a wooden material so that tree rings having three-dimensional patterns are formed on the surface of the wooden material. Accordingly, the present invention can stably and simply form three-dimensional patterns on the surface of a wooden material in contrast to existing techniques in which a wooden material is produced by carbonizing the surface of the wooden material by using a torch.
