PURPOSE: An optical system for an LED spotlight and the LED spotlight including the same have a small size and achieve the maximum of lighting efficiency with the minimum of electric energy. CONSTITUTION: An aspheric reflector (110) controls the light of an LED light source by refraction and reflection. The aspheric reflector includes a reflective surface (111) having positive refractive power. An aspheric lens (120) is placed at the emission side of a light source of the aspheric reflector. The aspheric lens includes a first optical surface (121) and a second optical surface (122). The first optical surface is formed in an aspheric shape having negative refractive power to the incident side of the LED light source. The second optical surface is formed in the aspheric shape having positive refractive power to the emission side of the LED light source.
