The present invention relates to a high-efficiency food waste dryer with a heat pump for dehumidification and a heat pipe for heat recovery which evaporates moisture in food waste by heating the food waste in a paddle dryer for food waste with electricity or other heat, dehumidifies high-temperature humid air generated during a drying process by introducing the air into the evaporation part of a heat pump after recovering heat from the air via the evaporation part of the heat pipe and lowering the temperature of the air, performs a primary increasing of the temperature by heating the dehumidified low-temperature dry air with heat recovered from the heat pipe and reheats the air into high-temperature dry air in the condensation part of the heat pump. Therefore, the present invention can increase the efficiency of the drying process via waste heat recovery from high-temperature humid air and can increase a dehumidification quantity per unit dry air by reducing the absolute humidity of a dryer opening via the dehumidification of the heat pump.
