A band rejection filter using a meta-material is disclosed. The band rejection filter using the meta-material according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises; a substrate; an upper ground unit which is formed on the upper end of the substrate; a transmission line which is formed on the lower side of the upper ground unit; a lower ground unit which is formed on the lower side of the transmission line; a first insulation unit which is formed between the upper ground unit and the transmission line and separates the upper ground unit and the transmission line; a second insulation unit which is extended in an opposite direction with the upper ground unit from the center of the first insulation unit and forms the transmission line as a U-shape; a third insulation unit which is separated to a left side of the second insulation unit and is formed into a rectangular shape; a fourth insulation unit which is separated to a right side of the second insulation unit and is formed into a rectangular shape; a fifth insulation unit which is extended to a left side from the third insulation unit and separates the transmission line and the lower ground unit; a sixth insulation unit which is extended to a right side from the fourth insulation unit and separates the transmission line and the lower ground unit; a seventh insulation unit which is formed between the transmission line and the lower ground unit and separates the transmission line and the lower ground unit and connects the third and fourth insulation units; a ground plate which is formed along the outer lower side of substrate; and a strip resonator which is extended from one side inside the ground plate and forms a U-shape defect structure to be faced with the transmission line.
