The present invention relates to an electrocardiogram mapping system for determining a position of an insertion type electrocardiogram sensor and, more concretely, to an electrocardiogram mapping system for measuring electrocardiogram in order to insert the insertion type electrocardiogram sensor, comprising: a plurality of electrocardiogram leads for measuring the electrocardiogram; a pad attached at a portion of the heart of a patient, arranging a grid of the electrocardiogram leads and measuring the cardiogram of the patient; a recording part for recording electrocardiogram signals measured by the electrocardiogram leads arranged on the pad; and a mapping part for constructing an electrocardiogram signal map on the pad by using the recorded electrocardiogram signals. Additionally, the present invention relates to an electrocardiogram mapping method for determining the position of the insertion type electrocardiogram sensor and, more concretely, to an electrocardiogram mapping method to insert the insertion type electrocardiogram sensor, comprising the steps of: (1) arranging the electrocardiogram leads in a grid shape for measuring the electrocardiogram and measuring the electrocardiogram by using the pad attached on a portion of the heart of the patient; and (3) constructing the electrocardiogram signal map on the pad by using the measured electrocardiogram signals. The electrocardiogram mapping system and method for determining the position of the insertion type electrocardiogram sensor, provided in the present invention, construct the electrocardiogram signal map by using the electrocardiogram signals measured by the pad where the electrocardiogram leads are arranged, thereby correctly and efficiently checking the position where the electrocardiogram signals are well measured and determining the correct position for inserting the insertion type electrocardiogram sensor.
