The present invention relates to an environment-friendly system for growing green tea and a method for growing the green tea by using the system, and more specifically, to an environment-friendly system for growing green tea which comprises the following: a water tank (110) including a penetration hole (111) and an outlet (112) on the lower side; a seed assorting unit (100) formed of a supporting bar (130) connecting a mesh net (120) storing green tea seeds and the penetration hole (111) for maintaining the soaking condition of the mesh net (120); a cultivation chamber (210) sowing the green tea seeds assorted by the seed assorting unit (100), and providing a space for growing the green tea; a soil unit (220) located on the bottom of the cultivation chamber (210); a door (230) in a triple form located on one side of the cultivation chamber (210); multiple windows (240) installed on the side surface of the cultivation chamber (210); a ventilation device (250) circulating air inside the cultivation chamber (210); and a green tea growing unit (200) including a boiler (260) installed on one side of the cultivation chamber for adjusting the temperature inside the cultivation chamber (210), and formed of a prefabricated panel structure to be installed on the ground.
