A TACTILE MAP IN PUBLIC TRAFFIC FACILITIES FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE

The present invention relates to a tactile map of public traffic facilities for visually impaired people which comprises: a case installed by having one side fixed to a wall, and forming an accommodating space in an upper part thereof; an operating unit installed on the upper side of the case and having various functional buttons; a tactile map display unit installed in the accommodating space of the case, and displaying the tactile map by using a braille block according to the functional button selected in the operating unit; and a speaker installed on one side of the case, and transmitting sound according to an operation of the operating unit and the tactile map display unit. According to the present invention, the visually impaired people can easily move to a desired place in the public traffic facilities by using the tactile map display unit vertically operated by heat, thereby reducing the transporting time.
