A method for controlling power of femto base stations in a femtocell network installed in an indoor space comprises: dividing the indoor space into a plurality of cells using a Voronoi diagram having locations of the femto base stations as seeds; allocating an amount of power to a femto base station having the longest distance to the farthest point of its corresponding cell from among the femto base stations, wherein the allocated amount of power enables communications to the longest distance; determining a plurality of edited cells by excluding a communication-enabled area of the femto base station, to which the power has been already allocated, from the cells; and allocating an amount of power to a femto base station having the longest distance to the farthest point of its corresponding edited cell from among the femto base station, to which power has not allocated, wherein the allocated amount of power enables communications to the longest distance. The method for controlling power of femto base stations can minimize interfered areas while avoiding generation of coverage holes in the indoor space.
