The present invention relates to a system for remotely controlling a multi-channel excavator using Zigbee communication. The system comprises an excavator and a remote control terminal remotely controlling the excavator. The excavator includes an equipment operation unit performing the function and an equipment wireless communication module interfacing the equipment operation unit and the remote control terminal by being connected to the remote control terminal by the Zigbee communication and to the equipment operation unit by a first CAN communication. The remote control terminal includes a remote control operation unit remotely controlling the excavator and a remote wireless communication module interfacing the remote control operation unit and the excavator by being connected to the equipment wireless communication module of the excavator by the Zigbee communication and to the remote control operation unit by a second CAN communication. The equipment wireless communication module and the remote wireless communication module mutually communicates by any one of a main communication channel and a sub communication channel by using the Zigbee communication. In case an error of the main communication channel is detected, they mutually communicate by the sub communication channel. Accordingly, the communication between the excavator and the remote control terminal is stably performed and the remote control stability can be secured.
