The present invention relates to a forming method for a superhydrophobic coating layer. Specifically, the present invention comprises: a step of manufacturing inorganic oxide large particles; a step of spraying the inorganic oxide large particles on a substrate; and a step of surface-processing the inorganic oxide large particles sprayed on the substrate. Accordingly, the present invention is able to form a superhydrophobic coating layer since multi-scaled roughness is obtained by using inorganic oxide large particles. Additionally, the superhydrophobic coating layer formed according to the method is able to be usefully applied in functional coating material fields such as an advanced display film, a functional optical film, a material for preventing accretion, an automotive glass for securing a sight range and the like by having properties such as water repellency, oil repellency, antifouling, non-adhesiveness, low surface tension and the like.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
