The present invention relates to a composition and a health functional food for preventing and treating metabolic disorders using a fermented or non-fermented extract of a crude drug mixture. The crude drug extract of the present invention has effects in suppressing adipocyte differentiation and improving fat metabolism and sugar metabolism in 3TS-L1 cells which are mouse-derived adipocytes, and L6 muscle cells, and thus can be useful for drugs or health functional foods for preventing and treating metabolic disorders.
