The present invention provides: a production method of taxadiene from a plant comprising a step of transforming a recombinant vector comprising a taxadiene synthase gene in a plant cell, a production method of a transformed plant producing taxadiene by transforming a recombinant vector comprising a taxadiene synthase gene in a plant cell; a transformed plant and seeds thereof producing taxadiene manufactured by the method; and a composition for producing taxadiene from a plant comprising a taxadiene synthase gene.
