The present invention relates to the neck of a bottle and a bottle cap for opening and closing the neck of a bottle. The neck of a bottle comprises a first locking part horizontally protruding outward from the upper edge part; a second locking part horizontally protruding from the lower edge part while being separated downward from the first locking part at a predetermined interval; and multiple third locking parts formed between the first and second locking parts on the outer surface and horizontally separated from each other at predetermined intervals along the edge part. The bottle cap for opening and closing the neck of a bottle comprises a first locking groove formed on the upper part of the internal edge part to fit the first locking part; a second locking groove formed in the lower part of the internal edge part to fit the second locking part; and third locking grooves formed between the first and second locking grooves to fit the third locking parts. Thus, the present invention can protect the hands of a user when the user opens and closes the product, can stably protect contents by sealing the bottle through four steps, and can be applied to all kinds of bottles by being easily opened and closed by hands.
