The present invention relates to a switch box for connecting an underground distribution line which obtains convenient work characteristics by allowing a worker to easily and simply connect and release the electricity distribution line without carrying an additional lighting device. The switch box includes a case (100) installed on a wall surface of a basement; a lighting unit installed in the case (100) and controlled according to the open/close state of the cover (120) to radiate illumination into the case (100); and a connector (300) movably installed in the case(100) to electrically connect a distribution line (L) introduced in the inner side of the case (100). According to the embodiment, the inner peripheral part of the case may be lightened through a lamp of the lighting unit installed in the case, and it is not necessary to carry a separate lighting device so that the convenience of a work may be significantly improved. According to the embodiment, since the connector is movably coupled with the case, when tensile force is applied to the distribution line, the connector is moved into a direction to which the tensile force is applied through a guide member inserted into a rail hole. The problem of disconnected distribution line or release of a connection state of the distribution line may be solved. Further, a distribution line fixture performs a stopper function to limit the movements of a connector moving along a guide member so that a problem that the position of the connector is changed may be solved.
