The present invention relates to a feedstuff additive and a feedstuff mixed with the same. Particularly, the present invention relates to the feedstuff additive for reducing heat stress of ruminant animals by controlling heat generated by rumen fermentation, and the feedstuff mixed with the same. The feedstuff additive reduces: heat stress of ruminant animals by controlling fermentation heat inside a rumen of ruminant animals such as cows; the generation of heat and gas in a rumen ultimately to increase the productivity of the ruminant animals; and the volume of greenhouse gas released by the ruminant animals.
