Method for Checking Data Error of Electric Power Steering Apparatus

PURPOSE: A data error checking method of an electric power steering apparatus is provided to prevent current map data from being wrongly saved due to excessive writing operations by checking the number of writings before the writing operation of the current map data. CONSTITUTION: A computer requests data writing operation with respect to the first region of a saving part to a controlling part(S310). The controlling part reads writing number information saved in the second region of the saving part. The controlling part compares the writing number with a reference value. If the writing number is smaller than the reference value, the controlling part saves current map data in the first region of the saving part(S320, S330). If the writing number is larger than the reference value, the controlling part stops the writing operation of the current map data(S340).
