TAIL STOCK FEEDING UNIT USING FEEDING MOTER FOR TOOLPOST OF MACHINE TOOL AND METHOD THEREOF

A tailstock transferring device using a feed motor for a tool post of a machine tool is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and easily design the tool post. A tailstock transferring device using a feed motor for a tool post of a machine tool comprises: a fixation pin installed at a tailstock one end; a sensor unit checking the advance and reverse of the fixation pin; solenoids(70,80) electrically controlling the advance and reverse of the fixation pin; a PMC unit(programmable machine controller, 90) delivering the control command to connect or disassemble the fixation pin and the tool post; a tool transfer servo motor(100) delivering the power for the movement of the tailstock; a servo part(110) delivering a load value of the tool transfer servo motor; a controller(120) conveying the control command to the advance or reverse to the tailstock; a memory unit(130) outputting the location of the fixation pin and the tailstock to the controller; and a display unit(140) indicating the overload alarm.
