Provided are a heating device and a continuous metal plate heating apparatus including same. The heating device may be configured to include: a pole part generating a magnetic field to heat a flat plate material and disposed apart on at least one side of the flat plate material; and a lead part connected to the pole part and provided to allow a current to be applied thereto and space to be easily utilized. According to the present invention described above, since the flat plate material - for example, a metal plate or a continuous metal plate such as a rolled plate (a continuous thin rolled plate) - is heated while a utilizable space is being provided, it is easy to install the apparatus in a rolling line where space is particularly limited, it is possible to uniformly heat the metal plate in a widthwise direction thereof, and coil winding structures of the pole part and a head part are improved, thereby ultimately allowing a metal plate to be optimally heated.
