The present invention relates to a LNG treatment system and a method to treat LNG. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a LNG treatment system and a method to treat LNG with improved system efficiency by a step of initially operating the LNG treatment system by using a preheated gas of the temperature which fits to be compressed in a compressor and exchanging the gas preheated during the initial operation with the BOG discharged from an LNG storage tank to heat the BOG to the temperature for the BOG to be compressed in a compressor, and by a next step of exchanging the heated BOG with the BOG discharged from the LNG tank. The LNG treatment system comprises a BOG supply line; a BOG compressing/cooling device; a BOG heat exchanger; and a preheating gas supply device.
