The present invention relates to a wire swift braking apparatus, a braking method, a wire swift for automatic braking using the same, and a PPWS manufacturing apparatus thereof. More specifically, the wire swift includes braking capabilities to prevent the kinks occurring when the PPWS manufacturing apparatus is temporally stopped while manufacturing a PPWS. The present invention includes: a braking unit touching the rotation shaft of a wire reel or a side of the wire reel to brake the rotation of the wire reel; a control unit controlling the operation of the braking unit to use the halt of the PPWS manufacturing apparatus as a signal. The present invention can prevent the steel wire from being unwound to prevent the kink of the steel wire.
