The purposes of the present invention are to manufacture a steel wire with excellent rigidity, excellent fatigue properties, and excellent ductility and overcome a limit to an existing drawing rate. The present invention contains 0.8-1.0 wt% of C, 0.8-1.2 wt% of Si, 0.2-0.6 wt% of Mn, 0.03-0.07 wt% of Sb, residual Fe, and unavoidable impurities. A minute tissue contains more than 95 wt% of perlite and a residual free ferrite or cementite.
