SYSTEM OF COLLISION IMPACT ABSORPTION FOR SUBMERGED FLOATING TUNNEL

Disclosed is a collision impact absorbing system for an underwater tunnel, including a collision detecting unit which is installed in or around tunnel tubes connected to each other in a longitudinal direction to form the underwater tunnel and detects a direction and speed of a submerged moving body approaching the tunnel tube; a moving body which is installed on the outer peripheral surface of the tunnel tube to be able to move along the longitudinal direction of the tunnel tube, and moves to the tunnel tube in the region where the submerged moving body is moving, based on the signal of the collision detecting unit which detects the approach of a submerged moving body; and an impact absorbing unit which is installed on the moving body and collides against the submerged moving body approaching the tunnel tube first to absorb the impact produced by the collision. When the submerged moving body, such as a vessel or a submarine, approaches, the approach of the submerged moving body is detected, and the impact absorbing unit moves to a collision point based on the detection signal, thereby absorbing the collision against the submerged moving body and thus minimizing the damage to the underwater tunnel.
