A vaccine consisting of a single amino acid sequence of fibronectin extra domain B (EDB), fibronectin extra domain A (EDA), annexin A1, endosialin, tenascin C extra domain C or magic roundabout protein (MR) or at least at least one fragment thereof in its original or multimeric form, or consisting of a combination of such amino acid sequences or at least one such fragment attached to a carrier molecule and a pharmaceutically acceptable adjuvant. 2. The vaccine according to claim 1, wherein EDB, EDA, annexation A1, endosialin, tenascin C extra-domain C and magic roundabout protein (MR) are derived from a human, dog, cat or horse. A vaccine containing EDB, EDA, annexation A1, endosialin, extradomain C tenascin C and the magic roundabout protein (MR), according to claim 1 or 2 for use in medicine. The use of a fusion protein consisting of full-sized EDB, EDA, annexin A1, endosialin, extra domain C of tenascin C, or magic roundabout protein (MR), originating from the genus to be treated, or parts thereof and a carrier protein of origin from another kind, for the manufacture of a vaccine for medical use.
