Device for studying the unidirectional flow of the magnetic fluid in a saturating magnetic field, consisting of a closed loop of a nonmagnetic material such as glass, with a magnetic fluid therein, a vertically extending portion of the loop is placed in a saturating magnetic field of the permanent magnet outside of the contour taken by device detecting and measuring the velocity of ferromikrochastits magnetic fluid, for example a measuring microscope.
