An optical waveguide fiber, comprising: (i) not containing Ge core having an effective area of 100 150 mkmdo mkmna wavelength of 1550 nm, wherein said core comprises: (a) a central core region extending radially outwardly from the centerline to radius r and having a percentage relative refractive index profile Δ (r) in%, measured relative to pure quartz, such that -0,1% ≤Δ (r) ≤0,12%, wherein the central core region has a maximum relative index percent refractive index Δ; (b) a first ltsevuyu core region surrounding the central core region and directly adjacent thereto, having a value α, 1,5≤α≤10, and extending to an outer radius r, wherein mkm≤r≤10 6 microns and having a percentage profile relative refractive index Δ (r) in%, measured relative to pure quartz, the minimum relative refractive index Δ, the maximum relative refractive index Δi relative refractive index, measured at radius r = 2 m, such that: -0,45≤Δ≤0; -0,25≥Δ≥-0,45 and Δ≥Δ (r = 2 m); (c) a fluorine-doped second annular region surrounding the first annular core region and directly adjacent thereto, extending to a radius of 20 mkm≤r≤ 30 microns and having a percentage negative relative refractive index profile Δ (r) in%, measured relative to pure quartz, with a minimum percentage relative refractive index Δ, so that-0,5% Δ -0,25%; and Δ≤Δ; (ii) a membrane surrounding the core and having a percentage relative refractive index Δ (r) in%, measured relative to pure quartz, and minimal
