FIELD: measurement equipment.;SUBSTANCE: substance of the method consists in preliminary heating of a metal plate to required temperature and its subsequent submersion into a layer of loose material arranged in an experimental site, which from inside is covered with a layer of thermal hydraulic insulation. Monitoring over even heating of the metal plate to the required temperature is carried out by the contactless method with the help of the infrared thermometer. The lower edge of the metal plate is sharpened at the angle of 45°. Thermoelements installed in loose material and in the thickness of the metal plate in the centre record thermal modes of loose material heating and metal plate cooling with a certain discretion and duration of time. With account of the measured parameters they calculate the thermal conductivity coefficient of loose material.;EFFECT: higher accuracy of loose material thermal conductivity coefficient measurement under transient thermal mode.;5 dwg
