FIELD: nanotechnologies.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to nanotechnology and can be used for creation of photonic crystals, optic filters, high-sensitivity sensors and microlasers. A method for obtaining silver particles coated with a ligand cover in a polymer matrix involves reduction of silver nitrite in a reaction solution. The latter is prepared by series addition of solutions of silver nitrite, sodium citrate, sodium oleate and natrium borane to the polymer matrix, as the polymer of which there used is water solution of polyvinyl alcohol or water solution of gelatine. Reduction is performed at irradiation of the obtained solution by laser radiation at the wave length of 510.6 or 578.2 nm.;EFFECT: obtaining stable, highly-organised silver particles coated with ligand cover.;4 ex
