FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of biotechnology and deals with methods of obtaining solution, which contains highly molecular isolated capsular polysaccharides of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotype 19A. Claimed methods include obtaining fermentation culture of bacterial cells of Streptococcus pneumoniae; fermentation of said fermentation culture for not more than 6 hours; lysis of bacterial cells with obtaining solution of capsular polysaccharides of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotype 19A with molecular weight, at least, 480 kDa, in cell lysate; and separation of said capsular polysaccharides from cell lysate with obtaining solution of capsular polysaccharides of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotype 19A.
