FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: neurological syndromes of the somatic motor system involvement, pseudobulbar paralysis, impaired cerebral circulation in the vertebrobasilar system are stated; glutathione, thrombin time and high-density lipoproteins in blood plasma are measured taking into account patient's age. The discriminant function is calculated thereafter. If the discriminant function has positive values, the degenerative-dystrophic spinal diseases with discogenic disorders are diagnosed, while the negative values show the degenerative-dystrophic spinal diseases without discogenic disorders.;EFFECT: method enables assessing the presence of discogenic disorders by assessing the complex values.;4 ex
