A gas turbine inlet mist system using electrohydrodynamic (EHD) atomization is disclosed. In one embodiment, the inlet mist system includes: a gas turbine system (100) having an air inlet channel (118) and a plurality of electrohydrodynamic (EHD) nozzles (132) connected to a water supply (134), the plurality of EHD nozzles (132) configured therefor to generate a water spray for reducing a temperature of intake air sucked into the intake air passage (118). In another embodiment, an inlet mist system for a gas turbine system includes: a plurality of electrohydrodynamic (EHD) nozzles and a water supply in fluid communication with the plurality of EHD nozzles.
