The movement (1) has winding and time setting stem (40) acting on a drive mobile unit (24) in response to the action of a user and adjusting display of number of minutes. A counting mobile unit (26) is arranged in a first kinematic connection connecting minutes chronograph counter (44) to the drive mobile unit and in a second kinematic connection connecting the stem to the drive mobile unit. The counting mobile unit is arranged such that angular position is indexed on the number of minutes and the mobile unit is driven from the counter when the number of minutes is different from zero. An independent claim is also included for a timepiece.
