Use of an agent which alkali metal cations and inorganic and / or organic anions, as a discoloration reduction means for reducing the occurrence of patchy exposed concrete surfaces dark stains on the exposed concrete before its curing at least in its after the hardening is added to the region forming exposed concrete surface.
