The motor car (1) has a lighting system having a light source (7). The outer region of the radiator grill (3) provided at the front end of the main portion, is formed with the decorative frame element (4) designed as the light sources. The frame element is provided with four frame sections (5), and a light guide (6). The light source focused to the frame section of the frame element is controllable by a lighting control device (8).
