The air conveying device (2) has an inlet (4), into which the air flows through an intake (6). An air conveyor (8) is connected with the inlet, through which the air is supplied from the inlet to a vehicle aggregate (10), such as inter cooler. Another air conveyor (12) is connected with the inlet to supply the air from the inlet to a braking unit of a braking device (14). A closing device (16) is transferred from an unoperating normal position to an operable functional position. The closing device completely closes the latter air conveyor in the normal position. An independent claim is included for a method for controlling a control device of an air guiding device.
