The system has an image processing unit (3) to process image of traffic sign obtained by a camera (2). A display panel (1b) is provided for reproducing image detail from image processing unit. The image processing unit is set to decide (S8) whether the traffic signs are additive design associated with text areas for extracting the text areas in image section and for reproducing (S9) image detail on display panel.
