The system (14) has a firmly installed apparatus (2) installed in an inner space i.e. center console, of a motor car and provided with a display panel (4) and a docking station (16) e.g. adapter. A mobile apparatus (10) e.g. tablet computer, is provided with another display panel (12). The mobile apparatus is dockably combined to the docking station and with the installed apparatus. The display panels of the apparatuses form a common, apparatus-overlapping display panel if the mobile apparatus is docked. The mobile apparatus is docked at the installed apparatus by the docking station. The display panels are touch-sensitive display panels.
