The block has a flow rate detector whose rotary body is rotatably mounted around a rotational axis to experience a rotation by flowing water and to detect a flow rate. The rotary body is designed for insertion via respective inner sides (4, 5) into two sub-cavities (8, 9) before assembling sub-shells (1, 2) i.e. plastic injection molded parts, of a heating block body, which is made of plastic for forming a cavity (3). Flow elements are formed as a nozzle-type taper in the cavity for guiding the water to the rotary body, and arranged in the sub-cavities in a flow direction before the detector.
