The screw has a screw head (110) and a molded-on pin (120) to which a hole forming portion (140) and a self-tapping thread portion (130) are provided. The molded-on pin includes an unthreaded portion (122) extending between the screw head and the self-forming thread portion. The non-threaded portion is formed with a circumferential groove (125) that is incorporated with one of components to be joined during introduction of a screw (100) by plastic deformation of material, where the screw is made of deformed metal material.
