The shield element (18) has an intermediate space, which is partly covered between a loading space cover and a tailgate (12) of the motor vehicle (10). A fastening element is provided for fixing the shield element at a counterpart provided on the side of the motor vehicle. The shield element is fixed at the counterpart by the fastening element using magnetic attraction force. The fastening element is formed as a magnet, which is arranged on the side of the shield element, particularly protruding on a base body of the shield element.
