The head (1) has a spray head medium line connecting a vaporizer (6) to a supply unit for a coating medium. The spray head medium line is arranged within a flexible thermoplastic tube (9). An interior of the thermoplastic tube is adapted for controlling temperature of the coating medium in the medium line, where the medium line is filled with a heat conducting medium. A chamber (2, 3) is in communication with the interior of the thermoplastic tube. The chamber is provided with a media distributor (17, 21) for a heat transfer medium. An independent claim is also included for a device for coating substrate with a liquid coating medium.
