The motor vehicle has a pivotally mounted loading platform (6) arranged behind vehicle seat (1), where a pivotally mounted backrest (2) of the vehicle seat is folded to front for enlarging a loading space (7) of the motor vehicle, from a sitting position into a loading position. An adjusting unit is provided for pivoting the backrest from the sitting position into the loading position and for pivoting the loading platform in a pivoting position. A load bearing surface (9) of the loading platform is arranged with respect to the load bearing surface (5) of the backrest, in the pivoting position.
