The bag (1) has a paper layer (2), and a set of lateral side sealing seams (4b) that is provided at the side of the paper layer. A plastic layer (3) is connected consistently to the sealing seams. A set of side folds (6a, 6b) is superimposed in three folded layers in the plastic layer. A set of folding edges (7) is arranged parallel to lateral extending edges of the bag. The set of folding edges is provided with crossing points (8). The crossing points are arranged on both sides of a fold (5) so as to protect attachment regions (10a, 10b).
