The energy storage unit (42) of charging device is connected to energy storage unit (22) of intermediate circuit in predetermined operating state, to supply power to the electrical load (10). The electrical power is supplied to the load from the storage unit (42) of charging device, when failure of supply of power to intermediate circuit and/or electrical load is detected.
