The torsion beam rear suspension has two longitudinal control arms (100A) for supporting the respective wheels, and a cross-beam with two ends that are connected to the longitudinal control arms. Each longitudinal control arm has a pin (110), which extends in the longitudinal direction of the cross-beam and is provided with a lateral surface. The lateral surface of the pin is joined with a radially inner circumferential surface of the cross-beam. Another lateral surface of the pin is joined with another radially inner circumferential surface of the cross-beam. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a torsion beam rear suspension.
