The spark plug has an electrode arrangement (1) which has a central middle electrode (3) and a measuring electrode (5), where the measuring electrode is arranged in a distance to the middle electrode. The measuring electrode or the middle electrode has an edge (13,15) originated from a separation treatment of a semifinished product. The edge is extended in the direction of the middle electrode or the measuring electrode. The middle electrode is formed in rod-shaped manner and has a cylindrical peripheral surface (7). An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing an electrode arrangement for a spark plug.
