The wheel (10) has a hollow cylindrical base body including a hub region (12) with an internal diameter (Dn), and a tread with an outer diameter (Dl). Radially extending openings (26) with a radial linear extension (Ia) is formed in the hub region. Strippings (28) are formed from the openings in a circumferential direction such that a bar (30) is formed between the strippings and the hub region. A radial linear extension (Is) of the bar is smaller than the linear extension of the openings. The strippings are extended in the direction over an angle range (alpha f) of 30 degrees to 330 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a connection between a belt wheel and a ball threaded nut by clearance-free excess assembly.
